SIDELINE RULES & GAME DAY POLICY
π₯ GAME DAY EXPECTATION
Ave Maria Tackle Football is committed to providing a safe, organized, and positive game-day environment for all players, coaches, and families.
All participants and spectators are expected to follow the guidelines below.
π§ SIDELINE ACCESS (VERY IMPORTANT)
Sideline access is STRICTLY LIMITED to:
- Rostered players
- Approved coaches
- Designated team staff
π« Parents and spectators are NOT allowed on the team sideline or under team tents
Violation of this rule may result in:
- Immediate removal from the sideline area
- Team penalty enforcement
π¨ TEAM SIDELINE AREAS
- Each team will have a designated sideline area
- Teams must remain within their assigned space
- Players and coaches must stay off the field unless participating in the game
π© SPECTATOR AREAS
- All spectators must remain in designated viewing areas
- Spectators must stay behind barriers or a safe distance from the field of play
- No spectators are allowed behind team benches or on the field
π¦ ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY (READ THIS TWICE)
Ave Maria Tackle Football enforces a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for:
- Disrespect toward referees
- Verbal abuse toward players, coaches, or staff
- Aggressive or confrontational behavior
- Use of inappropriate or offensive language
Violations may result in:
- Immediate removal from the venue
- Suspension from future games
- Additional disciplinary action
πͺ NO SIDELINE COACHING
Parents and spectators are NOT permitted to:
- Call plays
- Yell instructions to players
- Interfere with coaching decisions
π Let the coaches coach.
π« APPROACHING COACHES & STAFF
- Parents may NOT approach coaches or staff during games
- Concerns must be addressed after a 24-hour cool-down period
This ensures respectful and productive communication.
β« GAME DAY PENALTIES
Failure to follow sideline or conduct rules may result in:
- Team penalties (yardage or automatic first down)
- Removal of individuals from the field area
- Game stoppage if necessary
π Yesβthis WILL be enforced.
βͺ MUSIC POLICY
- Only clean, appropriate music is allowed
- No explicit or inappropriate content will be tolerated
π΅ PLAYER SAFETY FIRST
- No unauthorized individuals on the field
- No running onto the field during play
- Respect all safety boundaries
